Location
I use the world as my backdrop; that is my studio. I travel all over Wisconsin and the globe with so many locations in my back pocket. Your session’s location is what makes your photographs complete with the right outfit. It lays the foundation for the session's aesthetic and vibe. Choose a location that best fits your clothes, personality, style, theme, and the overall feel to your session.
Do you want to choose your location or outfits first? This is like asking what came first "the chicken or the egg?" Meaning, there is no wrong way to do this. Sometimes you know exactly WHERE you want to shoot. Other times couples might know exactly what they want to WEAR but need help choosing a location that will fit their attire.
You can always choose a location that is special or sentimental to you. Such as, the coffee shop where you had your first date or the spot you got engaged.
Report back to me with your thoughts and ideas and I will map out the perfect place(s) for our session.
Start thinking about if you want a more rural scene, surrounded by nature. Or something more urban with brick walls or city lights.
Do you want any of the following?
Rural: field, waterfall, lake, river, wild flowers, bridge, woods, forest
Urban: urban buildings, brick walls, city lights, alleyways, skylines
Tell me every thought or idea you have in mind for your session. This will further help me choose the right location and assist me in bringing your personality to your photo shoot.
